- Answer No. Touchscreens will only work for iOS. There is no touchscreen apps for the Mac

- Answer It actually runs it perfectly just take care of the Mac keep it from getting dusty and try to just limit it to music use but I’m using it in a studio with presonus and it works perfect.

Questionwill this computer work with Protools software version 11.1? My current computer asks for driver installation to allow a midi to work. My midi is class compliant, and no driver exists. Will this computer solve this problem?

- Answer It should we’re using ours for cubase 8 pro and it’s working great, but this model does not come with a FireWire connection if you need that you’ll need an adapter to for thunderbolt 2 Hope that helps

- Answer Check to see if your older mac will boot from an external system. If so, there is hope. especially if a thunderbolt port is available.
