QuestionIf you wanted to take it out, for a class to write notes, could you use a clear case on it, That’ll still allow for the magnet to connect when back in case and protect it when you’re not in tablet mode, or no? I feel very uneasy removing w/o protection

- Answer I am wondering why you don't want to type your notes, but to stick with the spirit of the question, there is some security exposure as it doesn't have edge protection and sufficient pull can detach it unintentionally. What I do is keep it attached and just turn it like a book, and use it like a 'notebook' as opposed to a like a 'pad'. Holding it like a notebook, the cantilever bend creates a nice handle. - Answer They turn on automatically, but if you would like to adjust the brightness you would go to settings>General>keyboard>hardware keyboard then adjust accordingly.

- Answer If you’ve used the Smart Keyboard Folio, this is actually more secure that that. It has a solid magnetic connection that keeps the iPad securely connected. You are correct that this does not cover the edges of the iPad.

The Magic Keyboard has a different design and connector than the iPad 7th generation. The Magic Keyboard is designed for the iPad Pro and iPad Air with a USB-C connector, while the iPad 7th generation has a Lightning connector. If you are looking for a keyboard for your iPad 7th generation, I recommend the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio. It is a great keyboard that is designed specifically for the iPad 7th generation. - Answer The new Apple Magic Keyboard only covers the face and back of the iPad Pro. This means you can still hold and charge a 2nd generation Apple Pencil on the top/side of the iPad Pro. Short answer, yes.

For example, the Logitech MX Keys Mini for Mac has a built-in trackpad that you can use to control your MacBook Pro without having to reach for the mouse.
