My understanding is that you have to go to the apps button, blue, and download the app for Netflix, for example. The devise doesn't come preloaded. Call your cable company for help. I did and then they connected me with Apple support. The service was great.

You certainly can try to return it to your BestBuy store, but there is a time limit from the date of purchase. If they do not receive it back, if you are beyond your time limit, or that your expectations about what apps "should be" in the Apple lineup were not really something within BestBuy's control, I would suggest selling the device on eBay. Otherwise, continue to use it, and hope that your favorite app is added in the future.
