- Answer I used the same email on my phone and my husbands to set up the cameras. Only one user can access camera with the same email or you will get bumped off.

- Answer I have 2 essential camera's and 3 of the first generation camera's with the first generation hub. I have had the essential camera's configured with my first generation camera's on the hub and also with the essential camera's configured alone using my home wifi. They will work either way.

QuestionWill this camera notify you if someone comes into your home while your away? If I connect it to my phone will it activate my phone so I can see who is entering my home? Can I take a still picture with my phone?

- Answer Yes, the essential camera's will notify you on your phone when motion triggers the recording. You will have a recording of this on the cloud. If you would like to take still photographs it is possible if you're quick enough but honestly with my experience taking pictures isn't a priority when someone is in your house. You know already that you have a recording going, you can't get better angles, and you're watching what they are doing. You can download the recording and take stills from it if you'd like.

- Answer No these camera's will not work when your wifi router is not working unless you are using a hub and you do have internet access wired to the hub.
