A:AnswerCable Modems needs to be A DOCSIS 3.0 or DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem to support ipv6, and your service provider (ISP) must also support it. This device is DOCSIS 3.1.
A:AnswerI just purchased the S33 at Best buy in Lynnwood, WA on 6/14/2023, there was no indication on the box of what "Model" it was other than S33, its not until you open the box and look at the Quick Start Guide when you see what "Model" it is, my Model was an S33v2 so yes they do sell the v2. They had a stack of them there at the time of purchase but do not know if they are all v2's or if a mix. According to the feedback here from Arris it sounds like it doesn't matter anyway, but their issue is that there is a new version v2 and we all think that means its improved based on how other products present model #'s, this just adds in this case a bit of confusion.
A:AnswerI just moved and could no longer use my Xfinity service. I absolutely loved them. While I had them I had a basic Arris cable modem that support digital voice and it worked fine. With the S33, it doesn't directly support digital voice, so I had to get a Ooma Telo VoIP service which works great. It was about 50 bucks and taxes are less then 5 bucks a month. Better then 20 a month.

A:AnswerYes it works seamlessly! Easy to install! Sometimes the older MacBooks dont immediately latch onto the signals, but restarting the MacBook, did the trick.

A:AnswerShould work just fine. I have this modem and am currently using it with Eero Pro 6 and have no problem. Great little modem, I'd be sure to check compatibility with your service provider moreso than worry about your router as some service providers are strict with which equipment can work with their service.
A:AnswerThe SURFboard S33 modem is compatible with Nighthawk RAX43v2 router. Compatibility between a modem and router is primarily based on Ethernet connectivity, and both devices support standard Ethernet connections.
