QuestionKeyboard not working when in laptop orientation, what am I doing wrong?

- Answer Do a "hard reset". Hold down the "esc" key (top-left corner of keyboard) and then push the power button (on the right side of the laptop) one time. The same thing happened to me. I had it in tablet mode (which looks and acts like an Android smartphone). But when I flipped the screen around for laptop mode, the screen stayed in tablet mode. The keyboard and touch pad would not work. But the touch screen did still work. So I Google searched and found the above answer.

QuestionHow do i adjust screen brightness and turn on backlit keys?

- Answer Screen Brightness is in the top row of the keyboard (the "Little Sun" and the "Big Sun"). You can also click the time in the bottom right of the screen. You'll find the slider in the pop-up window. The Backlit Keys will turn on any time you touch the touch-pad or press any key on the keyboard.

- Answer It does, and does well until it falls apart, the. ASUS won't honor their warranty and you'll have a paper weight. It's junk, get something else.

QuestionWhat kind of water proofing does this computer have? I want to get one for my sister as I have really enjoyed mine but she is accident prone and I don't want her to accidentally ruin this laptop by spilling a drink on it.

QuestionSince this is listed as a Chromebook and a laptop, am I able to hook up an external DVD player and watch movies?

- Answer You can hook up an external DVD drive that is designed for a computer and has a USB output. It would be best to get one with USB-C to avoid the need for an adapter. You can easily find these in the $30ish range. You cannot use a DVD player that is designed to connect to a TV with e.g. an HDMI cable. (Sometimes those DVD players also have a USB port, but that is for input only. It has to be a DVD drive designed for computers).

- Answer Certainly, Roblox plays smoothly with this Chromebook. Since this is a web-based laptop and relies on an internet connection for system stability and performance, please verify if the Chromebook has access to a stable and a high-speed internet service and getting an excellent WIFI signal.
