• If you're adventurous It looks like the bottom could be removed by taking out the 10 screws and I would think the HD and memory is readily accessible. Just watched a YouTube video on a different model and it looked fairly easy. I don't have a SSD recommendation.

• This model unit comes with 500GB 5400RPm hard drive. You cannot replace it with SSD drive. Please be advise that it might void warranty if anything gets damaged on your unit.
