- Answer Mine is brand new and the battery indicator in the Taskbar indicated just over 4 hours on a full 100% charge.

- Answer If you're adventurous It looks like the bottom could be removed by taking out the 10 screws and I would think the HD and memory is readily accessible. Just watched a YouTube video on a different model and it looked fairly easy. I don't have a SSD recommendation.

QuestionWhere are the speakers located on this laptop?My girlfriend has an ASUS laptop and the speakers are underneath the laptop. I want to know if the speakers are on the bottom of this as well because that is not practical for me since I often have the laptop on my lap.

- Answer The speakers are located on both sides. The edge is beveled and its towards the front side if the laptop. It shouldn't get blocked even if you are using it on your lap. I often have mine on my lap, too, and I have no problem with it. Though, this laptop has week speakers. I suggest you get a bluetooth speaker. The Insignia one ($25) is good and affordable.

QuestionAll of the programs and apps I have used all work with the touchscreen - except Google Chrome, which is my browser of choice. Any ideas? I am not using it as an app, but from an icon on the desktop. Open to suggestions - is a bit frustrating.

- Answer The laptop has a standard hard drive inside. It has 1 usb 2.0 and 2 usb 3.0 ports for connecting an external drive. But it does not come with one.

- Answer Not sure what you are asking. The laptop has Bluetooth built-in so you don't need a Bluetooth dongle. I have my Bluetooth mouse and headphones connected to it.
