A:Answer You don’t need an actual modem; just a device that will allow this router to connect to it’s Ethernet connection and be assigned an address by it, to gain access to the internet it provides. I have done it by connecting a wireless bridge to the router that was connected wirelessly to my iPad, which had an internet connection. It took some fancy setup, on the wireless bridge, but worked well. For a PC, if it’s setup to allow devices to connect to it through the Ethernet connection to gain access to the internet; then it should work.
