- Answer Yes, I just dropped in a spare 1TB I had, very simple. It has 2 8GB which was hard to find out. Thought it had 1 and had to buy 2 16GB to upgrade to 32GB. Great platform.

QuestionRGB backlit keyboard or no? The features listed on the page says RGB, but the first and only review so far says it's just white, no colors to choose. Did he not find the option in Armoury Crate, or it's really just white?

- Answer It's is just white backlight, just got this laptop myself. This is fine for me as I don't really care for the rainbow colors anyways and usually set my stuff to monochrome or white.

- Answer Yes. default it is on. Only could pick Default mode in Armory Crate after. In other to pick Eco, Ultimate and other you need to uncheck Smart Accecss and restart the computer

QuestionWhat are the key differences between Model:FA617NS-A16.R77600 and Model:FA617NT-A16.R77700? Aside from the upgraded GPU, are there any other upgrades or changes made to this newer model? Does the R77700 model have more heat pipes to help with cooling?

- Answer The one additional heatpipe on the CPU side is only available with the Ryzen 9 7940HS model. This one doesn't have it. This model does have FRL on the HDMI and USB4 on the USB port connected to the iGPU, which the old batches of the 7735HS + 7600S model doesn't have (due to pin space limitations, Thunderbolt 3/4 and USB4 ports for both Intel and AMD integrated chipsets can only be connected to the iGPU, so the direct-to-dGPU USB port has to stay 3.2 to provide direct-to-dGPU extra performance). However, the new batch of 7735HS + 7600S models has FRL and USB4 also, so in the case of the new batch, there is no difference beside the dGPU.

- Answer Mine had 2x8gb. I replaced with 2x Corsair Vengeance 4800 16GB DDR5. Not sure about max. Not sure how significant a performance boost 5400+ would get you though.

QuestionHello, just got one of these: For the extra SSD slot, is it advised to install a SSD w/ or w/o a heatsink/shield? I.E. is there enough space inside for a sink/shield? Also can I get a CL# or parts example for upgrading the ram? (I don't want to messup)

- Answer I have a secondary 2TB NVMe in mine with no heatsink and have not noticed any issues. If you buy one with a heatsink you may struggle to get it to fit. As for RAM I upgrade to the RAM I linked below and it runs great. - Answer Its gonna get warm but gaming laptops have a higher heat tolerance than most just put it on a cooling pad and a fan pointed at it when processing images.

- Answer Yes was easy to remove backplate with proper tools and install m.2 drive and swap out with faster ramm is doable in under 20mins
