A:AnswerWe plugged this external monitor into a USB-C port using the USB-C to USB 3 adapter on a MacBook Air. It was recognized immediately and worked without any problem.
If your MacBook Pro has a USB 3.0 port you should have no issues, you can confirm whether you have USB 3.0 by going to "About This Mac", "System Report", "Hardware", "USB" and then if necessary, scroll down in the "USB Device Tree" window to see which ports are available. "USB 2.0 Bus" is likely shown first, with "USB 3.0 Bus" at the bottom, depending on the age of your computer. This display is excellent for our application!
A:AnswerMy wife has the 2015 MacBook Air, they're pretty much the same. The portable monitor comes with an adapter so you'll be able to plug it in to either of your USB ports (Preferably USB 3 since it has a higher transfer rate, although I think the 17 model has two USB 3 ports). You will have to download a driver on your Mac to use the monitor. Its pretty quick and easy. Just go to the Asus site and search for you monitors model number. You should find the driver there. I have a Mac book pro and the monitor works without the driver. Hope this helps :)
A:AnswerThis monitor require a USB-C video input. Based on the tech specs available, both of those models appear to support USB-C video output. No additional cables would be required.
A:AnswerOne via the display port/usb c should work fine. As for the second screen, I don’t know if that laptop has a powerful enough video card to drive two external displays and the main screen. In theory the second USB port could be used. The screen comes with USB C cable with a type A adapter.
A:AnswerI have had it two weeks and the mouse response is almost instaneous. Two of my comrades have bought it and report the same. SOME devices do no have the DP Alt Mode driver (iPads etc) and that creates problems of course.
A:Answergo to your settings and display option on your computer and you should be able to add a second display. On mine, it's under the multiple displays and click "extend these displays"
