QuestionThis phone announces each number I dial, even though I turned off the Caller ID announcement in settings. I don't want it to read the numbers I dial out loud either. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried everything

- Answer I was not aware of that feature, but I believe the Caller ID announcement setting has to do with if the incoming call is announced audibly (on) or not (off). Perhaps it is another setting that needs to be turned off and can be found via Google?

- Answer Yes, you can turn off the voice announcements. You can merely not add one or else remove it once set up.

- Answer I do not have to subscribe to a caller ID service. After entering phone numbers into the directory, they show up when they call, not only on the phone but on my TV because my phone and TV are part of a bundle. So basically all I had to do was charge the phones and, once charged, just hooked them up in place of my old ones.

QuestionIf phone numbers are programmed into the phone book, is there a way for visually impaired to hear the names in the phone book and choose one to dial? My mother in law cannot see but can hear so she needs the phone book contacts to be read to her.

- Answer DEPENDS ON YOUR phone carrier , Spectrum digital will not work unless you purchased their batteryback up $$ , when power got out . Phone batteries will not charge without power source .
