- Answer I have no idea. I wanted a very basic phone set. My one major criteria after being very basic is that it sound good. I was advised it does. It does not. It sucks. I would not purchase this unit again. Therefore, I'd stay away from any AT&T product.

QuestionCan I purchase 2 base phones with the answering machine so I can have 1 answering machine upstairs and 1 downstairs? Hard to remember to check for messages if I don't see the base flashing with new messages. Modem and phone line are located upstairs.
