• A:Answer I don't know the cartridge number it comes with, it's white. But there is only one different one available, it's an elliptical. I switched to this and it greatly improved the sound quality. The replacement # is ATN2600LE. Costs about $50

• A:Answer You could, by plugging a set of wired headphones into the 3.5 mm stereo Analog Out jack on the back of the turntable, but the volume would be at a fixed level and only moderately loud as there is no power amplifier inside the turntable (only a phono preamplifier) and there is no volume level adjustment on the turntable. It would be better to install a headphone amplifier between the turntable and the wired headphones or go with the Bluetooth version of the turntable, the AT-LP60XBT- and use a set of wireless (Bluetooth) headphones instead.

Q: QuestionWhat type of cartridge and stylus does this come with? I have a record player that skips. I was told to get a player that comes with a heavy stylus. Please provide an answer.

• A:Answer This cartridge is somewhere in the middle, not too heavy, not too light. It catches the records really well, whereas my previous Crossley player had way too heavy of a cartridge which would cause it to jump and potentially scratch records. I would say this cartridge is a good starter, and can be replaced for future modifications.
