- Answer No it is not based on an open source from LibreOffice. It provides better document compatibility with Microsoft Office and it is faster/ smaller than LibreOffice. This is proprietary alternative office suite design in Germany. You can download trial version here: http://www.binarynow.com/download/

QuestionWhen I create a Power Point presentation of 100 pages with photographs and total data of about 4GB . Can it be converted to a PDF document? Am I able to break up a long PP presentation into 2 or 3 documents?

- Answer Yes, your pptx presentation can be converted into PDF using PlanMaker. PDF files are usually much smaller. You can also split presentations into smaller ones and then convert each of it into a separate PDF. Please be sure that you have enough operating memory (RAM) when working with large files.

QuestionIf I buy this product, will I have a "product key? I had purchased Office by SoftMaker at Best Buys a few years ago. When I transferred it to a new computer, SoftMaker required the "Product Key within 30 days, or I have to p or rent the new version.

- Answer Microsoft Money development and support ended in 2011 by Microsoft. SoftMaker Office can open and save documents created for Microsoft Word, it can also open and save spreadsheets created for Microsoft Excel, but it will not execute Excel macros.
