• A:Answer I have several of these cameras looking through a window. Some work better than others. Daytime works good. Night is a problem because the little light comes on when activated and reflects in the glass.

• A:Answer Hello Ace! The official Blink Weather-Resistant Power Adapter is 13ft(4m) long and is currently the longest available cable guaranteed by Blink to maintain the IP67 weather-resistance seal at at the back of the camera. If you need to go beyond 13ft I would recommend using a heavy-duty outdoor rated extension cord. The reason I recommend an extension cord is because if you run more than about 20-25ft of USB-power, you can run into "voltage drop", where the camera may reboot or lose connection due to power inconsistencies. Just be sure the connection point between the extension cord and the adapter is kept in a weatherproof electrical box to ensure it stays dry. However, if you install a microSD card, it will record only what moves and or what you choose it to to save you the time and storage space of motionless recording. But to answer your question, yes they will run continuously 24 seven. They will only store what you choose and what moves.

• A:Answer Yes, these are wireless cameras and they attach to your Wi-Fi and you are able to access them remotely from anywhere. All you have to do is download the app and add the camera to your account. On the app. It gives you 30- day free trial without your debit card or credit card. It is $10 a month to purchase the plan which allows extra features when saving events on the cloud. You can still access the camera from anywhere without a membership, but if you want to keep any of the recordings you must have the $10 a month membership. It is also attached to your Amazon account. Now if you want something to record from inside of your car, I would suggest getting the outdoor 4 camera by blink. The outdoor four is wireless. It runs off of lithium ion batteries. It is very easily use and start up and again with the blink 4. You can save the recordings to the cloud using the core module which is usually with the purchase of an outdoor four blink. Or you can purchase the module XR and you can save the recordings on an SD card. The outdoor 4 camera does not necessarily need a membership or subscription to keep the recordings. If you have the module XR. You must have the module to have an outdoor 4 camera because the module is what hooks up to Wi-Fi. I hope you enjoy your purchases if you go with blink. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and I have four mini cameras and two outdoor cameras. My next purchase will be the doorbell or the outside spotlight

Yes, the Blink Mini 2 may make a subtle clicking noise when night mode activates or when a Live View session starts at night, as the IR-cut filter mechanically engages. This sound is normal and can often be mitigated by disabling night vision in the Blink app's settings or, if the IR filter is the cause, by manually setting night vision to "On" or "Off" instead of "Auto".
