    • Answer You can purchase the Sync Module and save data to a flash drive to save on monthly cost. You will loose some live functionality if you do. If you choose to use the Cloud services it is $3.99 per camera per month, with generous discounts for annual and multi camera accounts.

    • Answer The Blink Video doorbell will not fit in you peephole, but can be installed anywhere near it to behave like one. It is a small rectangular box that has a good look and can display the video on your phone or other compatible assitants (mostly Amazon)

  • QuestionSince Blink is owned by Amazon, is it automatically opted into the Ring Neighbors system (i don't want to beat part of that.) Is there a way to make sure my video isn't sent to the Ring Neighbors system and the local LEOs? I need to know this before I buy

    • Answer Mine did the same thing, I went through the setup again, being sure I selected the correct mount with wiring and chime, the doorbell did function properly after 2nd setup. Be sure the wired doorbell transformer is correct, mine was 16 volt 10VA, also installed the AA batteries. I also deleted the first setup and went through the complete process again. I took pictures of the doorbell and module barcodes so I wouldn’t have to remove them to scan them, the doorbell tabs could be damaged if your not careful.

    • Answer Well….. I pretty sure as long as your at home and your hot spot on your phone is available at all times while your there but I wouldn’t recommend! It just makes life easier if you had Wi-Fi because weather or not if your home it’ll work ? I hope this answers your questions

    • Answer Can't imagine why it didn't work unless your WiFi is 5GHz only. Most WiFi have 2.4Ghz even very old ones, while quite a few new ones have both 2.4 and 5GHz.
