QuestionBecause of my countertop install, my cut-out height looks like it is 33 3/4". Is that big enough? Also, are there wires coming out the back that I can hook up my existing junction box to? Thanks

- Answer Hi Propster, thanks for your interest in model SHPM65Z52N. The required cut-out height is 33 7/8". The connection hook up is via the back of the dishwasher. Question2. Can I swap out the direct electrical hookup cord that came with the Bosch for one that has 3 prong plug to connect to a standard outlet's receptacle? Why aren't we given a choice up front?

- Answer I finally installed the Bosch. Shocker, Best Buy provides at no charge a box for installing a direct wire hook up. It is a separate box from the dishwasher. However, inside the the dishwasher, Bosch already has the 3 prong plug cord for connection to existing outlet. No one seemed to know that. So Best Buy, if not other merchants, provides both means of hook up.

QuestionWe bought a Bosch Model SHPM65Z55N dishwasher and when we used AutoAir the door opened at the end of the cycle when we used it. Now all of a sudden the door does not open automatically when we choose the AutoAir option. Why?

- Answer The Bosch warranty is 1 year. Best Buy offers a protection plan to purchase, which I did and believe it's well worth it for an appliance. I purchased Protection Plan when I bought DW - ask Best Buy if you can still purchase extended protection plan since original warranty from Bosch is still in place.

QuestionHi there, I just bought this dishwasher and it is not fitting into my space. I now know I need a dishwasher that is no more than 33.5" in height. Do you have anything by Bosch at this height in white?

- Answer Hmm. Standard dishwasher dimensions are; 24wx24dx35h. There are compact sized DWs out there. The Bosch 300 series is their compact line with a height of 32.125" Check out their model #SPE53B55UC. Hope this helps. Happy New Year.

QuestionI know I can turn off the end of cycle signal/sound/beep, but is there a way to turn off all beeps for the control buttons? I'd like for the machine not to make any beeping noises / sound when I push the control buttons / and when I open/shut the machine.

QuestionIt says here that it’s 23 3/4” deep but does that include the thickness of the door? Our dishwasher was installed today in a space where we previously had a Bosch dishwasher (that was flush with the cabinetry) and this one sticks out past the countertop!

- Answer Make sure that it's snugged all the back into the cabinet opening. Also the installer may have not placed the hoses/connections properly and they are preventing the unit from seating in all the way back. This may sound obvious but check for any obstruction between the unit and the wall. Hope this helps.

QuestionDoes this series have a heated dry function? I was told the 300 does not and I know the 800 will have the ultimate, but not wanting to wait and need a dishwasher in white. We are having to dry our dishes after cleaning in a GE Profile Ugh!

QuestionOur dishwasher will get heavy use and cleaning filter is recommended 6-8 times a year... How is the filter cleaned on the 500 series Bosch?

- Answer Refer to the manual as it gives very clear instructions with pictures on how to access/clean the filter. It really easy only takes 5/10 minutes to remove, clean and replace.
