QuestionI used my Bose ear buds all summer and absolutely love them! Recently, I have been having some ear pain/pressure. I went to have them checked out and I have an ear infection. I read that some ear plugs can cause infections...thoughts?

- Answer I've been using the Bose sleep ear buds for about 6 months. Over this period I've noticed more moisture in my rightt ear. I've actually been awoken by a squishing sound in my right ear. This has concerned me so I take it out and wipe my ear and the buds. It corrects the problem temporarily but the sound returns. This past weekend I was awoken after sleeping for 3 hours. I turned my head and the room spun out of control. I wound up vomiting from the vertigo. It would not stop resulting in a trip to the ER. I was there for 20 hours.I was given a antivert meds, MRI and CT scan. 6 days later the symptoms are subsiding. The only difference in my sleep regimen were the sleep buds. I'm not using them any longer.

QuestionMy wife bought these because of my snoring they work well but she sleeps on her side and when she wakes up her one ear is very sore, is there anything that she can do to help that?

QuestionThese are pretty pricey. Can they be returned if they don't work for me? In other words, is there a trial period and if so, what is the length of it?

- Answer Yes they are pretty pricey and based on what I've seen with return policy no and yes. It says 14 days return with bestbuy but its not considered a trial period. It doesn't have a restock fee to return it so you can definitely try them out within that time and if you don't like them then return them.

QuestionItIf your phone rings for an emergency or something of that nature, can you hear it through the earbuds? Can they become Bluetoothed to your phone in the middle of the night so that phone calls wake you?

- Answer The Bose Sleep Buds can provide an indication your phone is ringing but they are not Bluetooth enabled. You cannot answer the call and hear the other party through the Sleep Buds.

- Answer NO - they "work" with Android phones, but the earbuds will be out of sync slightly. This is a well-documented issue on the Bose support forums.

- Answer visit the Bose support forum. lots of complaints there from unhappy campers who have purchased sleepbuds. there are several known defects, including the one you mentioned... losing bluetooth connection and failure to sync.

QuestionHow many times can these earbuds be charged before the battery dies permanently? Is the battery replaceable or do I have to get a new set of earbuds?

- Answer Yes. I always charged them after a long nights use, daily. Or waited if we used them for a short nap or session. There is no replacing the battery that I can see, but don't take that as your final answer.

All user control is done within the Bose Sleep app. This includes the selection of soothing sounds, volume control, setting alarms, and managing updates.
