A:AnswerThe buds slightly go in the ear, it is this way to completely seal off any outside sound, which is part of the quite control feature. Very comfortable though, and when resting in the ear they do not give you the sound that your ears are plugged up to where you can hear your voice louder. You literally do not realize they are in the ear. Such a smooth fit and the materiel it is made out of is smooth as well.

Just wondered if your had also checked any third party sellers/websites that possibly sell a generic brand or something of that nature? I feel pretty unhelpful by writing this post essentially telling you to look for a knock off, but it seems like u have checked the right places of where I would think replacements would be sold. I don't think anything would be as good as the original though :(...happy hunting, I hope u eventually find what u r looking for.
