- Answer GREETINGS ; No Alexa is not built in the soundtouch 300, but is built in the Bose soundbar 700.

- Answer For me I am more than satisfied. I have not been using for music, but I am sure it may perform better for that. This is in my office and with the subwoofer it makes all the difference in the world. So if it is souond bar only that may be issue. But I am very happy.

This sounds like your system may be having some trouble connecting to your home Wi-Fi network. We would recommend first trying these steps: 1. Power off your ST300 and unplug the power cable for one minute before reconnecting. 2. Unplug your Wi-Fi router and also wait about 1 minute before reconnecting to power. 3. Force-close the SoundTouch app on your device. 4. Open the app and reconnect the system to your Wi-Fi network. - Answer Hi, That's a great question. You would retain some features through the Soundtouch App, but it's not intended to take the place of the remote. - Answer Hello xray, thank you for asking! Sure, you can combine the SoundTouch SA -5 amplifier with our Bose 251 Outdoor speakers. With speakers set up on your network, you would be able to select the same stream for the outdoor speakers right from the SoundTouch app. We are always here to help you with the initial setup process. QuestionHello. No sound coming out of TV using HDMI ARC output from SOUNDBAR. SOUNDBAR ARC HDMI goes directly to SONY TV ARC HDMI. ONYKO Receiver HDMI ARC IS HOOKED UP TO TV's HDMI 2 ( this HDMI is transporting Direct TV and Blueray components output. Help!

- Answer Did you get this issue fixed? If not, are you selecting the AUX or TV (icon) input on the soundtouch remote (upper left corner)? How are you playing Pandora? Maybe you have the soundtouch set to Bluetooth input.

Questionbose soundbar sound touch 300, don't have a Wi-Fi system in my house. I use a hot spot on my smart phone to connect my computer to the internet. The sound bar does not recognize the hot spot, how do I complete setup using my computer?

- Answer The hot spot on your phone most likely creates an ad-hoc network, which the sound bar may not report as a valid wireless network. One solution is to add a mobile hotspot device onto your cellphone plan to create a true wireless network. This is probably the easiest. Another solution is to plug your computer into the sound bars Ethernet port, but this isn't as straight forward since you will need to either configure DHCP on the network or wait for the IP auto configuration (assuming the sound bar will automatically assign itself an IP address). If your computer has wifi and Ethernet, you could setup internet connection sharing

- Answer I would think all you would need to do is change the settings on the TV sound menu to direct the sound back to the TV instead of the soundbar. Likely would have to do this each time you wanted to switch the sound output.

QuestionWhen streaming music from devices, should I always connect via WiFi vs bluetooth for best sound quality?

- Answer I've been using it for a month and have been using WiFi over bluetooth whenever possible. Bluetooth is OK, but can be choppy at times. Much of that depends on the device you're streaming from and the age of it's bluetooth specs. A huge advantage of wifi over bluetooth is that if you get alerts or whatnot from the device you're streaming from, those alerts won't be broadcast through the Soundbar. Think incoming text messages from smart phone, email notifications on phone or computer, etc.

- Answer The blinking stops when properly synced/paired with wi fi. Then the top two on the left illuminate when paired. If the sub is paired then the three lights are lite but not blinking.

- Answer Bose is not big about posting wattage. I think they believe it is overrated. I totally agree! I would answer both your questions with a single word answer: Enough. I have owned this thing for 6 months, paired with the Acoustimass sub. It's amazing.
