• A:Answer I only did a brief test, but the Kofax Paper Port 14 software does OCR. To do this, I used the Paper Port software to scan a document. After doing that, an icon representing the document appears. I drag that icon onto the "notepad" icon at the bottom of the Paper Port screen. A notepad window opens up with the recognized text.
