A:Answer Got my answer about Linux compatibility from Brother also. Two models that are compatible, although there may be others are 895 and the one I bought from Best Buy,HHL-L2395 DW easy to set up with WIFI connected to the Linux O/S I am using, prints from computer, scans and can send to my gmail account and copy basically does what I need it to do. Downloaded drivers from Brother, installed and worked beautifully. Did have some difficulty trying to connect with USB cable and earthnet which I was supposed to be able to do but the WIFI worked much better. One final hint, do not bother to call Geek for advice or questions concerning Linux, just not educated in that area and could not answer even basic questions which I find interesting since Linux powers most of the worlds super computers including the N.Y stock exchange. Should have bought a Brother black and white years ago after all the money I spent on ink replacements oh and by the way, the model I bought prints both sides saving even more money.
