• A:Answer Yes, it does have a "hidden" bake element under the floor of the oven. This makes wiping out the oven cavity so much easier.

Q: QuestionWhat is the lowest temperature can be started for bread proof function? Also, can it do fermentation?

• A:Answer Greetings– We appreciate your interest in our beautiful Café Induction Slide-In Range. This model does offer a Proof Mode that will create the perfect oven environment for activating yeast in homemade bread. When using the Proof feature, the halogen oven light is illuminated to provide the warm temperature needed to help yeast rise during the proofing process. The Proofing temperature is not adjustable. The temperature range reached when the oven is set for the Proof Mode is approximately 80° to 95° F. Fermentation is a cooking process and not necessarily a feature of the range. We recommend checking your favorite cookbook, online recipe site or your local county extension office for information regarding fermentation of dough in your oven. We hope this is helpful. Q: QuestionWill cafe stainless steel match GE Profile Stainless steele? All my appliances are GE Profile, but I need a new stove and like the Cafe’ stainless steele model. Will it match (not compliment)?

Stainless steel finishes will be very similar across our brands, but the sheen and/or shininess will vary depending on multiple factors, including whether or not the appliances are fingerprint resistant or not. Q: QuestionIf you have a freestanding model, do the sides get hot to the touch when baking / using the oven? I have a slide-in model that will be sitting next to a fridge, with a piece of cabinet wall in between. Thinking os installing a heat shield on the wood.

• A:Answer Hello- Thank you for your questions. We did find that information in the installation guide of the appliance that you can access as well on our website searching the model number. We will list that below for you. MINIMUM DIMENSIONS BETWEEN COOKTOP, WALLS AND ABOVE THE COOKTOP: A. Make sure the wall covering, countertop, flooring and cabinets around the range can withstand the heat (up to 200°F) generated by the range. 0” to cabinets below cooktop and at the range back. B. Allow 30” minimum clearance between surface units and bottom of unprotected wood or metal cabinet, or allow a 24” minimum when bottom of wood or metal cabinet is protected by no less than 1/4” thick flame retardant millboard covered with not less than No. 28 MSG sheet metal, (.015”), .015” thick stainless steel, .024” aluminum, or .020” copper. C. This appliance has been approved for 0” spacing to adjacent surfaces above the cooktop. However, a 6” minimum spacing to surfaces less than 15” above the cooktop and adjacent cabinet is recommended to reduce exposure to steam, grease splatter, and heat. We do hope this helps!
