A:Answer Yes, however I would buy just the body and purchase a lens separately. The bundled 18-55mm does not give you as clear of shots as most would hope. Depending on your subject's distance, I would purchase a lens with a little bit more range ability, because shooting portraits with the bundled requires me to get quite close to get the exact composition I want. Even old canon film lenses will function, but these cameras work best with the STM series lenses. The t6 has faster startup and more simplistic shooting modes, but does not handle backlit subjects as well as its older brother the T6i which is a big factor in still life or "booth" style photography. T6 also lacks the iso range and features (not to mention 18 compared to 24.4 megapixels) and is more of a beginner friendly camera. If you plan on using the autofocus features, the focus abilities of the t6i blow the t6 away (19 points compared to 9). The remote viewing with tablets and smartphones on the t6i would be a really great tool for you I believe. You can take shots remotely and have a larger viewing screen to help with composition and focus, just remember the t6i's screen will have more accurate white balance and exposure due to the variations in coloring and brightness of a mobile device with IPS screens (so set those features first!). I think you'd be very happy with the t6i's abilities and it would not dissapoint.
