It is clearly labeled one the outside of the box if it’s the updated one, the one I received is not compatible and requires purchase of the additional kit separately or just buy from another vendor with the current updated version of this fan.

A:AnswerI don't think so, its a pretty tall heatsink/fan and a quick search of your computer makes it look thin. I forget the dimensions but its apps. 5-6inches tall off your chip. Double check space in your case to be sure you have room or look for a horizontal fan to mount.
