- Answer it doesnt show in the compatible memory list on the motherboard's support page. but then again mine didnt either. im on a 8th gen z370 msi gaming plus to put it in perspective. i had to manually set the voltage to get the xmp timings. honestly... its probably compatible. if i had to lean one way or the other

QuestionI bought the 1499.00 ibuypower pc from here that says it's upgradable to 128gb of ram but currently only has 16gb. Are these the cards I need to upgrade or do I need non-ecc?

- Answer If you have the same IBUYPOWER units as I do, with the Z490, OR Z490 PRO Mobo, then YES, these will work !!! I installed & upgraded the ram from what it came with, some (generic) 16gb 3000 mhz ram ( I gave them to my son who has the Z490 mobo) and works fine, Now he has 32gb, @3000, and mine has the Z490 PRO mobo, I up'd the ram in that using these to 3200 mhz 4x16gb = 64gb total ram... I also enabled XMP in the BIOS, and Viola, it runs GREAT !!! I'm also running and using the Corsair ICUE software. It has NO problems running it.
