- Answer Just press the On/Off button clearly displayed on the front/ top of the item to get beeping alarm to cease if activated when house electric power goes out.

- Answer Hello, Thank you for your question. There is software available that can be used to safely shutdown your computer in the event of a power outage. The software is called PowerPanel. There are two versions of the software, Personal and Business. Both versions will work with this UPS unit. QuestionAfter a recent power loss I noticed this unit does not turn back on after the power is restored. This is the second time this has happened. Is it suppose to be manually turned back on after power loss or do I have a defective unit?
