Interestingly enough; the 1Tb M.2 NVMe OS SSD is a WD SN550 which is a PCIe x3 - I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to replace that with a Samsung PCIe x4 M.2 SSD 980 like I have in the second M.2 NVMe PCIe x4 Lower Slot.
A:AnswerLook at the motherboard manual, make sure the fans are connected properly or in the right slot. Open the back panel and verify fans are connected properly. It states to verify connection, that may have been moved due to during shipping.

I was able to get mine off. There are little tabs that lock in to the case. You have to take of the tempered glass side panel and push on the tab you can reach. The only issue is reaching the tabs on the opposite side unless you take that off as well.
A:AnswerMine came with foam packing and a card instructing me to check that no connections came loose during shipping, which i did and all are lighting up. Check your headers, you can go to the Asus Prime x570 Pro website to reference where they go if yours came completely loose.
