A:AnswerThat’s the main reason I purchased it. I’m starting to lose the higher frequencies. I wasn’t getting the clarity I needed with my old entry level receiver and 5.1 speakers. My existing (old) center sounds clearer with the Denon, but I’m planning to upgrade the center and front soon as those are crucial for TV and movie dialog clarity. Ask your magnolia advisor to play the Denon AVR-X1600H with a Martin Logan center for you. Crystal clear. Pricey, but so worth it.
A:AnswerUsing the ARC, the TV will control the receiver. When you turn off/on the tv, the receiver will turn off and on. The stereo volume will also be controlled by the tv remote.
A:AnswerPurchase a 3.5mm to RCA cable. From your phones AUX headphone out to RCA input on back of receiver. Bluetooth or HEOS would be preferred. HEOS is free to download.
A:AnswerHello, and thank you for your question. Are you asking if the Bose Bluetooth speakers can be used as surround sound speakers? The receiver will not connect with Bose Bluetooth speakers. The AVR-X1600H does work with Amazon Alexa. Alternatively Denon Heos speakers are a great match with this receiver creating a whole house music system.
