- Answer Hello Todd. The AVR-X2800H is an option which checks all the boxes you mention. Dolby Atmos is supported, as is 4K (and also 8K). The further up our current AVR line you go, you will find more features and increased control over how well a loudspeaker is driven - courtesy of the upgraded power supplies in the power amplifier stage.

- Answer Hello. When your TV is set to it's e/ARC HDMI input, the AVR information can be seen on your TV screen (eg. AVR volume, menu, settings). If you have other audio/video sources connected to your TV and you select the input they are connected to on your TV, the AVR info will not appear on your TV screen. The way around this is to connect all your sources to the AVR-X2800H instead of to the TV first.

- Answer Hello. While the AVR-X2800H is well-equipped to handle a 4 ohm load, we haven't measured for a power rating at 4 ohms.

QuestionIs there a known issue with this receiver occasionally dropping the signal from a cable box? I frequently momentarily have the signal drop and then reset. I don't have an issue with my 2 Pioneer Elite AVRs.

QuestionDoes this model support Denon 1 wireless surround speakers in a 5.1 setup? I have a Denon AVR with these wireless surrounds now, but I'm looking for a replacement receiver with more front power. I have no way to run wires to the back of the room.

- Answer Hello. Denon Wireless Home speakers pair well with the AVR-X2800H, but as they are designed to receive a 2 channel source feed, they do not lend themselves to use in the Main Zone for discrete surround sound feeds. Our wireless home speakers are designed to work in any other room in your home. There are some after-market wireless surround speaker kits available, but we are unable to offer any recommendations as we have not tested any of them.

- Answer Hello! The AVR-X2800H can support two wired zones. Since the AVR-X2800H has built-in HEOS, you can add wireless zones using our Denon Home HEOS speakers. With HEOS, it's possible to have up to 32 zones. Controlling the HEOS system is simple with a free app. Our wireless Home HEOS speakers can all play the same source simultaneously or independent sources of your choosing. Alternatively, the AVR-X4800H receiver allows for three wired zones.

- Answer Hello. The AVR-X2800H will be able to power both the Emit 50 and the Emit 30. There are higher-end AVRs or power amplifiers capable of increasing the performance of either pair. The most important thing is to get the right size speaker for your room. The Emit 30 is good for smaller rooms. The Emit 50 is happier in a medium-sized room, as it has more mass and therefore able to move more air to a fill a room of that size with sound. My suggestion is to consider the AVR-3800H, as it not only will have more grip with how either speaker is driven, but it will also come with pre-outs. Pre-outs provide an upgrade path for anyone wishing to add an optional external power amplifier to get even more performance out of their speakers.

- Answer Hello. That sounds like a fine set-up. With the AVR-X2800H you can have the settings at either 4 or 6 ohms, both settings will work. You can switch between them - if you prefer how one impedance setting sounds over the other, I recommend favoring that one. - Answer Hello. The AVR-X2800H has 3 HDMI inputs which can support a 4K/120Hz feed. They are the inputs labeled as '8K' in the rear panel.

- Answer Hello. The AVR-X2800H is well equipped to bring out the best in the Wharfedale DX-2 satellite speaker package. The DX-2 speakers will work well in smaller rooms owing to their size. They are not designed to shake the walls of a larger room.

- Answer Hello. The BMB DX-333 is a self-contained unit with an amplifier built-in, and speaker ports on the rear. This means speakers connect directly to the BMB DX-333. It does not need to connect to your AVR-X2800H. If you wish to connect it to the AVR-X2800H regardless, then you will need a set of RCA cables to go from the Line Out of the BMB DX-333 to one of the four sets of the analog Audio In (not the one labeled 'Phono') on the rear panel of the AVR-X2800H. We do not recommend using a Karaoke machine with a surround sound system because of the high risk of microphone feedback damaging your speakers.

- Answer Hello. Unfortunately, the AVR-X2800H does not have pre-out with which to connect an external power amplifier. Both the AVR-X1800H (front left and right only) and the AVR-X3800H (full set) have pre-outs for an external power amplifier to be utilized.
