QuestionI have dyson slim animal (red)- I opened the ball and removed the filter and then unscrewed the plate- I also unscrewed a plastic piece and I don’t remember where it goes- is there a pic of inside the ball. Can you verify from pic that this is correct?

QuestionSince this model is so strong and pulls electricity in our house, some of the circuit breakers have stopped functioning while the vacuum operates. Why didn't the manufacturer include a three-pronged plug to ground the electricity?

- Answer The three prong plug has nothing to do with power consumption and circuit breaker tripping. I would suggest that you try to use a relatively unloaded outlet with this vacuum, or turn off other items on the same circuit. (like lights) In other words, disconnect other loads to reduce the annoying breaker trips.

QuestionHow do I take apart my Animal vacuum. The Bottom works but something is stuck in the hose. Plus I need to take the bottom apart and clean it as well. Do you have manual? Waiting 72 hours is not an option for me I have to get this thing to work!

- Answer There are some great YouTube videos on how to do this if you don’t have the manual. Both my wife and I have been successful in taking it apart to clean and get the pet hair out. You can also get a pdf of the manual from the website

- Answer The standard model comes with a stair tool, the tangle free turbine tool and a combination tool which is a combination of a crevice tool and a dusting brush that allows you to easily switch between the two.

- Answer There is no way to adjust the suction and this vacuum has a powerful suction but you are able to turn off the brush so it wont reel anything in. I havent had any issues going from carpet to rug.

- Answer This model does not allow you to adjust for different flooring heights. It does NOT work on my carpeting. VERY frustrating.
