- Answer No you do not have too. I leave my humidifier on the all time and turn the AC on by night.

QuestionI have been using this for 2 weeks (every night), on the auto cycle, and the water tank is still full ... haven’t had to change it yet ... I’m guessing something is wrong? If so, how do I troubleshoot?

- Answer Unless your bedroom is much smaller than the 400 square feet, don’t expect it to work at all. I can’t speak to dry eyes.

QuestionI purchased the machine and it came with a box of 3 citric acid power. I have been looking but see several choices from other seller but nothing like the packets you gave with machine. Wrong stuff would void warranty. Why don't you sell it?

- Answer You can specify and control how much humidity you desire. The tank is easily removed and filled with tap water by pressing two release tabs and sliding it out. It has a convenient carrying handle. Just be sure the outside is dry before sliding it back into its position. You do not need to do anything with the water tank on a daily basis only refill when empty. Depending upon the hardness of the water in your area, minerals will build up in the humidity system. Dyson provides citric acid for you to use in the deep cleaning of the unit. And don't panic, the citric acid is not hazardous but you need to be careful with it.

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. This is a great question! This machine can connect to either a 2.4GHz or 5GHz network, which includes mot modern routers. The latest Dyson Link App does require either an iOS device with at least iOS version 9, or an Android device with at least Android version 5. QuestionI have the PH01 purifier humidifier. With a full tank of water in a closed room 400 sq. ft., should this humidifier attain 40-50% humidity when set and when run overnight from 10pm to 8am????? Mine doesn't maximum I've gotten is 37%.

- Answer I was wondering the same thing and find it strange that the machine comes with a box of 3 packets, but then you can’t get more! I guess I will buy the citric acid on Amazon because we do like the machine. It works well to combat the dry air from the wood stove.

QuestionHow can you tell if the air quality sensor is working? We used it for the first time and the sensor indicated that the air is already clean. However, we have 2 dogs and the bedroom gets dusty very quickly. So I have a hard time believing the sensor.

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. You'll be happy to know that during testing, cigarette smoke was specifically tested to help determine the filter life and whole room purification. From these results 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns are removed from the air. QuestionWe have a golden retriever who likes to shed his fur (naturally). Will this unit get clogged up with dog hair due to the purification feature?
