- Answer I've got a long haired dog and a short haired dog. I've used it on cushions, dog beds, carpet and tile. Picks up beautifully.

- Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11 models, that feature the torque-drive cleaner head work very well on thicker, or shag-type pile rugs. - Answer Hello Emma, this is Kelly with Dyson. While you can swap the battery out on the Dyson V11 Origin cord-free, if needed, it's not something we would recommend that you do on a regular basis. Swapping out the battery can eventually strip the screws that hold the battery in place, which would cause issues down the road with your machine. If you did wish to purchase a replacement battery, they are available directly on the Dyson website. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. All Dyson vacuums will require the same voltage to charge the machine; our machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. The suction power on the V11 Animal and V11 Torque Drive is 185 air watts, and on the V11 Outsize, suction power is 220 air watts. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

- Answer Hello Ricky, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson Cyclone V10 vacuums have whole machine filtration which means the machine is able to capture microscopic particles.The highly efficient post motor filter and whole machine filtration.This allows the machine to capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, expelling cleaner air than the air you breathe. - Answer The Dyson V11 Origin battery is not installed with screws. The battery clicks in and out. Since the Dyson rep can’t answer this question, does anyone else know if the Dyson V11 Outsize battery will fit the Dyson V11 Origin? I’m looking to buy a second battery as a backup and would like to know which battery to buy.

- Answer Hello Andy, this is Kelly with Dyson. The battery on the Dyson V11 Origin is not designed to be swapped out repeatedly, as it's held in to place to the machine with small screws. That being said, it can be replaced, if ever needed. You may purchase a replacement directly with any authorized Dyson retailer or on Dyson's website. the only model we currently carry with a snap-in battery is the V11 Outsize and V11 Outsize Origin.
