A:AnswerNot sure on frieze carpet but on my carpet the head did not go side ways. The suction was very strong and picks up items my old vacuum always missed.
A:AnswerI have two, one is attached to the wall (yes if you attach to wall you will have to drill holes for screws) and the other one is not hanging, I just plug it in, so it is not necessary to hang the vacuum. Although I am going to hang it up as it is more convenient.
A:AnswerI have both and both are the animal version, I don't know if that makes any difference. I do not see any difference in the suction/power between them.
A:AnswerThe battery pack may be running out. I ran into a problem where mine flat-out died, but in reviewing the problem I read about others who had a slow tapper from full capacity to limited working life before the full-blown battery death.
A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V6 Cordless models will take 3.5 hours to fully charge, once the battery is completely depleted. The run time can vary, depending on if using the vacuum in MAX or regular power mode. Regular power should be sufficient for most household messes, and in that mode, the machine will run up to 20 minutes on a full charge.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerDefinitely yes! With the normal configuration, vac+tube+power head - the bottom of the canister could actually drag on the floor and the powerhead will lay flat.
A:AnswerNo, they're better, but also interchangeable, and the wall mounted charger is interchangeable as well. The long skinny wand is longer but without the slack-ish button extension. The small static brush is better, it has two positions now so it doesn't cut the air flow and shut off the motor as much. BIG change is there is a hand-held beater bar that is amazing and doesn't cut off the motor at all. I had the v10 magenta one. This one is lighter and WAY better all the way around.
A:AnswerHi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for reaching out regarding your V6. It is recommended to empty the canister before debris goes over the MAX line. In the event, that debris does go over the MAX line and you notice a build up along the top, the canister can be completely separated by using the bin release catch with the bin lid open.

A:AnswerI have one of the smaller Dyson ball multi floor bagless uprights. I think the suction on the animal stick, using the small/large rotating heads have more suction when using the high setting.
A:AnswerHi there! Thank you for your interest in the V6. The V6, like all of the Dyson vacuums has a clear canister which collects the debris. The bin size is .11 gallons. Therefore, how often you need to empty the canister does depend on how often it is used and how much debris is collected.

Krystal
