A:AnswerBelieve it or not at this price point there is no way to lock the power button. My friend got one, after 5 minutes her hand, wrist and forearm were exhausted. This is the most ridiculous design flaw ever and the answer given by the company is nonsensical. I won’t even get a watering wand attachment without a lock button. Imagine trying to get your house vacuumed in one go. This is a complete dealbreaker unless all you’re going to do is quick vacuum jobs.
A:AnswerYES! it will scratch your dark hardwood floor. The rotating head doesn't scratch it, but the bottom of the stick somehow does. I have to be very careful and sort of hold it up else I'm bound to get a light scratch. Good luck
A:AnswerI got this vacuum for Christmas and love it except for the trigger grip. I have arthritis and that position is painful. I keep trying to hold it a different way, but it doesn't work as well. This is a real pain. I can't believe they wouldn't design this with a permanent on option. Very poor design decision!

However, without a full charge, you do not get the full battery life for each use. MAX mode is great for heavier debris. With the clear canister, you will be able to see that you are getting enough suction as you will see the debris within the canister, ensuring you that it is picking up.

A:AnswerYou can choose not to use the plastic hanger part and just plug the power wire to the unit to charge it. We keep moving it around the house to charge so far since we don't have a pantry or space in the laundry room to mount it to the wall. we also remove the long stick so it takes up very little space.

A:AnswerIn my honest opinion yes!. I do wish the battery was easily replaceable for more cleaning with this you have to undo a couple of screws. But if you vacuum for quick cleaning it's great. I get about 30 mins of cleaning with this v8 with the motorized head. The 40 mins of cleaning is without motorized accessories.

A:AnswerYou need a 120V power source. I mounted mine outside on a closet door. I drilled a hole through the door to run the cord to a plug inside the closet. I put shelves in the closet for the accessories.
It says that it takes five hours to charge. My first charge took only 3 1/2 hrs. My wife plugs it in between uses. She may use it briefly for 4-5 times some days. She has never run it out of power. It picks up dirt amazingly well. Definetly worth the price.
