- Answer All of our thermostats are designed to work with 24VAC HVAC systems. If your HVAC system works with 120/240VAC (like baseboard heating), the ecobee is not compatible out of the box. Learn more: https://support.ecobee.com/hc/en-us/articles/227874607-Line-voltage-equipment

QuestionCan you set the offset when it comes on and off not the program but the stat when on hold. my current honeywell is 1/2 degree differential and makes the furnace short cycle.

- Answer Hey there! If you’re lacking a C wire and have at least four wires at your thermostat to work with, the Power Extender Kit (PEK), included with your smart thermostat, can be installed at your furnace control board. This allows you to create a C wire using the existing thermostat wiring by combining the functionality of the Y and G into one wire.

QuestionHow do I keep the thermostat connected to wifi?

- Answer Once you connect it to your wifi, it doesn't disconnect. If there's a power failure to your thermostat or your wifi goes down, the thermostat will reconnect when the problem goes away. I have also read in their product description that if the wifi is out the thermostat will continue to run the current temperature setting.
