A:Answer Yes it can work w/out motion sensing. Therefore, no it will not disregard the temp if it doesn’t sense you on couch. There’s 3 comfort settings and you decide which sensor works on what comfort setting. For example, at night I have my room as the main sensor. Even if it says unoccupied because there’s no movement, we’re asleep, it will be the primary one because I have it set as the one to work for sleep setting. We set the hours for ech setting too.
