- Answer It should BUT the Eero is limited to a 1gb Ethernet connection. But given most devices will not operate at that speed, it may not matter.

- Answer You should check your mbps speeds, if you have a lot of devices connected and using it for gaming, streaming, etc and a low mbps there’s the issue. You should look into upgrading to 90+mbps which is good for 4-6/or 10devices. If your issue is you’re far from the wifi router or on a second floor getting eero6+ and the extenders would be such a life saver as it makes the wifi flow all throughout. Hope this helps!

QuestionI want a total of three extenders for dead spots in my two story home in the NC mountains. Can all 3 of these work off of my existing router wireless or do I have to plug one into the router which would only leave me two extenders to work wirelessly.

- Answer You said it right. Or else you can setup these three as new networks by connecting ethernet cable from your current setup. You just need to plug ethernet in one unit of eero, rest two will backhaul by it self wirelessly and if you keep same SSID (wifi name) & password as current setup you don’t need to add all wifi devices. They will get it automatically

- Answer Hi so it’s very simple, you’ll keep your xfinity modem you only unplug the xfinity router, set it aside and get the eero device and connect it to the modem as if it were the xfinity router. If it’s the providers device you could return it. Hope this helps.

- Answer You can plug one end into the modem (network cable) and the other into the eero. it replaces your router function and then provides wifi to your place. If you ISP is providing wifi, you can then have them turn theirs off since you now are using an eero to do this.

- Answer Alexa will recognize that there is a new device and will set it up automatically. If for some reason she doesn’t then you can just open the Alexa app and hit add a new device.

- Answer You connect one of these to the modem and the other two are satellite range extenders basically.

- Answer That's hard to answer. What obstacles could potentially block or hinder the signal. You may want or need an extender that plugs in to outlet. We had to use one in the house and it worked great.

- Answer To be honest this would depend more on your internet provider and speeds you are getting. These are great for speeds up to 1 gigabit. I currently have the eero pro and am upgrading to the eero 6 because I am upgrading my internet speeds up to 1Gig. Before I was running 350Mbps and am upgrading to these because of the lost potential I am not getting out of my old ones.

- Answer Are you looking for better signal strength or better bandwidth (speeds)? If signal strength, adding more access points will give you that, but won’t necessarily increase your network speeds.

QuestionI'm planning on purchasing an Eeros 6 2 pack replacing an Apple Time Machine on my 2000 sq ft home. If I feel I need a third module can I just install it in the system versus buying a 3 pack now?

- Answer You can add additional eero 6+ router at a later time, however, the price for the 3 pack is cheaper than buying a 3rd one later one. I wish I bought the three pack instead of just two.

- Answer Yes. I get DHCP from my Centurylink DSL modem and have two eero APs providing WiFi access without providing NAT or DHCP services.
