A:AnswerThis is a convection oven too. We use it to bake frozen pizzas, egg rolls, etc. even toast; as well as air frying wings, sweet potato etc.
We also use it to bake cookies and other pastries.
I am very impressed with this oven!!! I got it on sale for about $100; I was uncertain at the time, but it turned out to be a winner!!!
Bought it March 2021.
A:AnswerI had the exact issue you had when it took me 45 minutes to cook bone-in chicken breasts. After a few other things cooked with same results, I knew something was obviously wrong. Stupid me! Who would have thought to check if the heating elements weren’t turning on? Yup, no heating or ability to cook anything! Those foods I cooked were actually cooked from the convection fan! Took a while and a lot of hoops to jump through with Emerald, but the did send me a replacement.
A:AnswerMine does the same thing and now the unplug/rep lug fix doesn’t work most of the time so I can’t choose an option similar to what I’m cooking. Rendered it basically useless.
A:AnswerNot much help here, but I did check the owner’s manual. No where does it list where this AF oven is made. I checked the warranty and to submit a claim the contact information is an email address.
A:Answer1) The exterior does not get as hit as you'd expect from an 1800 watt oven. However, if you cook anything over 350 degrees for more than one hour, all the knobs and the door handle are extremely hot, even wearing heavy silicone hand mitts. I won't use this again unless I'm wearing mitts. Cool down is quite fast maybe about 5 minutes. 2) Yes, you can bake bread and proof. No specific instructions and I just searched for bread recipes online. Bread comes out very moist.
A:AnswerYou can’t set top or bottom manually like the NuWave Bravo. This oven adjusts which element to use and the temp to for each based upon what your food selection is.
A:AnswerBroil is the grill feature and it cooks steaks perfect using both the broil and air fry cooking selections. No rotisserie and no way to add one on separately.
