Q: QuestionWe want to print checks, but not sure if they make Micr ink or toner that works with the Epson 702 cartridge? We have both the Epson workforce proof-3730 and the Epson workforce we-4720.

• A:Answer I am not positive but I have never found MICR ink or toner for small operations. The only solution is to order pre-printed checks which you then use in your printer to print the final check for signature. Any ink or toner will work for that.

Q: QuestionI've been buying the Epson 720 standard & the last 2X's I bought from Best Buy the black ink kept coming out so light, is this because I should be using the Epson 702XL? or was the ink dried out? Had to use color printing labels so black would be darker.

• A:Answer Hi Nyasha. Based on your description, the issue with black ink printing-out too light (i.e. faint printouts) may be related to clogged print head nozzles. Q: QuestionWill the Epson 702 XL ink cartridges fit my Epson WP-4530 printer? I usually use the 676 ink cartridges, but it appears that BestBuy doesn't carry them. If the 702 XL cartridges won't work, is there a current substitute for the 676 cartridges'?

• A:Answer Most color printers require the color ink cartridges be present, because they do use some color even for grayscale images (though not b/w text) printing. But some printers may, I suppose, allow them to be empty cartridges - I have no idea which may still function for b/w printing with empty color cartridges. I am pretty sure that the full answer will be model and manufacturer dependent.
