- Answer All you need to do is pull the front panel off and vacuum it out then put back in. Easy as that!! If you keep it clean and dry it should last the life of the ac.

Questionwhere is the drip vent located?I have an ac current in my apt window; however the drip vent is located too close to the window ledge and it drips on the ledge creating mildew on the ledge and down the side of the bldg. Therevre i ned toesure the drip vent is more towards the rear of the ac. Pls get back to meas soon as u cN

- Answer It should be fine. I only have about six inches of the unit inside the room, the rest is outside. I haven't seen any moisture inside.

QuestionWill this unit cool an oddly shaped apartment?My apartment has a living room which goes into a dining room with a kitchen to the side of the dining room. The entire space is approx. 35 ft X 15 ft. There are no doors or separation between the 3 spaces. The only window is in the kitchen and does not face towards the bulk of the space (dining area and living room). Will this unit be able to cool off the entire area?

- Answer Yes this will do the job. I use it for the entire downstairs of my farmhouse. It is in the window in the living room with a kitchen and dining room on the same floor and it's very comfortable. I also have a ceiling fan in the kitchen.

QuestionWhere can I find a wiring Schematic for the interior board on this unitInstallers didn't fasten the lbracket supports onto the unit, and it fell out after they left... THis jerked all of the wires out of hte unitl.. The unit is a 110 wired unit.... and all of the wires were jerked out of it when this happened...

- Answer Hello, it is not recommended that you use an extension cord or an adaptor plug. Also please do not remove any prong from the power cord. Thank you.

Questionair conditioner which can fit in window size of 20 inches width...i hav a window which is 20 inch wide n since m in a proffesion which is transferrable so cant go 4 split one..wats d option available 4 me ..

QuestionOur pro type kitchen is 270sqft,faces south, is 12,000btu ok?Windows face south, have a skylight, 2 dogs and a viking 6 burner stove, 3 ovens and a fan My ac guy says we will need 12,000 to keep it cool in Houston, TX summer. Is this the right size or is a 10,000btu unit better?

- Answer Hello, Though both a 10,000 and 12,000 BTU units will cool the area, due to the added heat exposure and based on the usage of ovens and cook tops, it is recommended that you purchase a 12,000 BTU unit. Thank you.

- Answer You can but the answer is should you? It's not recommended to use a power strip for any ac unit, but if you have to, make sure it's one that is rated for heavy duty use.

- Answer Window width must be 23"-36", and the height must be 15-1/2" minimum. The reasoning behind the specific measurement requirements it is to ensure that once the unit is placed in the window it is secure and will not cause a safety hazard for any one. Thank you, Frigidaire
