A:Answer It's designed to push the window down upon it to hold it in. You'd have to fabricate something to push down on the top to hold it in. Even with windows, I had to rig up something to protect the bottom of my vinyl windows and I have a stick outside pushing up the back end to help support the weight. So yes, it would work, but you have to make something to hold it up.
