It is lighter weight than most units so it is fairly easy to install and remove. I am 62 years old and have no problem lifting it.

Please try again later.It depends greatly on your windows--for double-hung windows with a sash, this unit is a good choice and only weighs about 35 lbs--easy for a person with average strength to put into the window sill. I would reccomend having a piece of wood or some foam blocks on-hand, depending on your window sill's height. Same as all window ACs, it must lean a few degrees down outside the window to ensure drainage of condensation. You will have to remove your screen(s) as it extends about 8 inches outside the window frame.
