A:AnswerHey tedantal! The only item you need for converting the range from natural gas to liquid propane is a conversion kit. We have located that the conversion kit is part number GRLP4. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerNo to both, bottom is storage only. The oven section is a all-in-one for baking, broiling and preparing items that require the use of the stove's oven. This stove's oven for broiler does work like the old style traditional standard stove with an oven and broiler section. Its amazing how it will function as a broiler when used. Did not see or was aware of a warmer feature for this convection oven.
A:AnswerMine did not come with a broiler pan. I have used a regular baking sheet with aluminum foil since 1981. I think broiler pans were used mainly for units without separate broilers, like ones that used the same burner for the oven as well as broiler. Just my take on it.
A:AnswerI would do anything special to the grates.
But, like a good cast iron pan, I would heat up the GRIDDLE and wipe a little cooking oil on (use a folded paper towel) it a few times before use. My wife taught me this and we love our cast iron pots and pans for camping. We get the added iron to our diet for free!
A:AnswerI would season grates just grease them down with grease after washing and drying them throughly. Do this until you are satisfied with the texture. Just keep greasing them down. Don't leave them in water. Always dry grates immediately after washing. Water is not cast irons friend. Good luck and enjoy your appliance
A:AnswerTo the best of my knowledge, the conversion is a matter of flipping a part in the regulator and tightening down the burner orifices. The newer gas ranges are set up to run either LP or Natural gas with a minimum of effort to convert them.
A:AnswerYes but you have a choice between the two. The convection setting naturally cooks the food faster and you should adjust the oven temp & baking time to account for this. It's really a nice looking oven.
A:AnswerWidth is 30". I had bought this convection gas stove 3 years ago for my other house that I sold. I like it so much I bought another one for my new townhouse.
