- Answer I'm not sure about that feature. I will have to check into it. Over all it's a great product. It does tell me the speed limit of the road I'm driving on and flashes red when I'm going above the speed limit.

QuestionCan this unit be loaded with UK maps?Can you buy this unit here in the USA, update the maps to UK maps, take it to the UK and use it, and then return back to the USA and use the USA maps again? if yes, would the UK maps be available for installation at no charge? If the 2797 can't do this, is there one that can?

- Answer Garmin recommends using a Garmin-branded USB cable. Although some digital cameras, cell phones, and other electronic devices use the same type of cable, not all will work with our GPS devices and may cause damage to your nuvi 2597LMT.

- Answer I do not have this feature on my vehicles, however, the bluetooth Garmin Speaker is very loud (volume control) and the caller can not hear my airconditioner blasting. My vehicles windows have noise reduction from outside already so, the caller can her the kids in the backseat saying hello to hard hearing grandpa.

- Answer Yes. Actually a model is made with the same features and a larger screen that my nephew uses. He's a long haul trucker (Maine-California) out of Penn. It's about 250.00

- Answer You will need a converter to increase the voltage to 12 volts. Also be careful of polarity.

- Answer Although I have not tried it with a headset, the voice does have a volume control. It is loud enough to hear when I drive with the windows down. Hope this helps.

- Answer Yes it stores our phone numbers & we can use the touch screen if we want but why do that when we can use voice command while we drive!

QuestionIs the internal storage large enough to hold entire US / Canada map?Hi! Does this GPS have enough internal storage capacity (without adding a microSD) to hold maps of the entire US and Canada simultaneously? Previous GPS's I've owned have only been able to store areas like "Southeast US", "West US", etc. at one time, and I'd have to delete the map and reload a new map if I was traveling somewhere different.
