QuestionI need to know where the 4 feet on the bottom of the microwave are to ensure it fits on a narrow wall unit shelf. A diagram showing the front and back legs with respect to the overall size dimensions would help me decide if I should buy it.

- Answer I had to call the store and they measured the distance of the rear and front feet from the front and rear of the microwave. Now I know where to place the unit. GE should provide a picture with arrows showing the bottom of the device for proper placing on a narrow shelf.

- Answer There is not a trim kit available for this model as it is designed to be used as a countertop model only. It requires 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" of clearance in the rear. The front edge of this microwave (measured at the door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the counter or shelf to avoid accidental tipping.

- Answer There are several troubleshooting tips that could possibly get this taken care of for you. When using your microwave, make sure that the door is securely closed. Be certain you are pressing a cook function rather than a timer function. If the microwave has a turntable on/off feature, make sure the turntable was not inadvertently turned off by depressing the turntable on/off pad to re-engage the turntable. If this isn't the case, service may be needed and can be set up via our Bodewell service page on our website. -Arnesha@GEAppliances

- Answer No, this model doesn't have an option for a trim kit. This GCST10A1WSS microwave model is designed for countertop installation only.
