Hi Davethetraveler - The refrigerator requires a 115 or 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. It should be on a dedicated circuit. Refrigerators located in campers, recreational vehicles (RVs), semi trucks, boats or other non-permanent locations (motor homes) have a valid warranty as long as they are installed properly. Keep in touch! Sue
