• A:Answer If you’re talking about the two drawers in the bottom of the refrigerator part, yes, you can adjust those temps using the touch pad on the left inside of the refrigerator. The two bottom drawers are both freezer drawers. I thought the top drawer was for beverages, but I have frozen and broke several bottles that way.

Q: QuestionCan the drawers in the refrigerator compartment for produce and meat fully pull out with the refrigerator door open at 90 degrees? If not, what is the required angle of degree?

• A:Answer Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. You can comfortably access the food inside when the Fresh Food door is opened 90 degrees. The drawers can be pulled out fully when the Fresh Food door is opened at a minimum of 110 degrees. If you wanted to remove the drawers the Fresh Food door must be opened at 125 degrees. Q: QuestionI am confused by the description of the two freezer drawers: TurboCool and TurboFreeze. Do these both safely freeze food ? The TurboCool drawer is not set to a temperature of zero.

• A:Answer Hi there - thanks for asking this great question! TurboCool is a setting for the fresh food compartment that "revs up" the refrigerator, cooling it quickly after frequent or extended door openings or when hot items are placed inside. The TurboFreeze setting does the same, but in the freezer section. In fact, you can even use the settings together for maximum effectiveness. During TurboCool, the refrigerator section can reach 33 degrees Fahrenheit and during TurboFreeze, the freezer temperature can reach 13 degrees Fahrenheit. • A:Answer Thank you for taking the time to leave us your question. This model is a frost-free unit that utilizes Frost Guard technology. Adaptive Defrost (Frost Guard) means that the refrigerator will only defrost as needed. It accounts for door openings and usage to determine when it is necessary to defrost and how long the defrost cycle needs to run. If the refrigerator is not being frequently used (for example, your family is on vacation), it will not defrost as often. The Adaptive Defrost (Frost Guard) feature also utilizes a "Pre-Chill" function to lower the freezer temperature prior to the defrost cycle. This lowering of the freezer temperature allows the freezer to return to its set temperature point more quickly once the defrost cycle is complete. All of this amounts to minimal thawing of foods and refreezing during the defrost cycle. The result is that it reduces freezer burn.
