Our countertop microwaves require a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse.   • QuestionI hve to replace my nonfunctioning microwave (GE Profile PEB 1590SM2SS). Are you making this older model anymore? If not, Is this the best replacement for our old microwave. If so, can I use the same trim kit that I used for for it?

GE Profile PEB1590SM2SS is no longer being manufactured. The comparable model is GE Profile™ 1.5 Cu. Ft. Countertop Convection/Microwave Oven Model #: PEB9159SJSS. Trim Kits are not interchangeable. This model is compatible with 27" Built-In Kit JX9152SJSS and 30" Built-In Kit JX9153SJSS (sold separately). This model JES2051SNSS is a counter top only model and not approved for built-in installation. The model that will fit your cabinet cutout without modification is PEB7227ANDD. This will require a new trim kit, as they are made model specific. Trim kit JX7227SLSS is the 27" kit and JX7230SLSS is the 30" trim kit. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - JB
